How much will an attorney charge to evaluate my boat accident lawsuit?

Video Transcription:

Normally, an attorney in Florida will not charge you anything to evaluate your claim. Furthermore, once you hire an attorney in Florida, it’s generally done on a contingency fee basis. In other words, if you don’t recover anything, you don’t owe anything. In contingency fee contracts, the amounts charged by the lawyer are governed by the Florida Bar and the attorney cannot exceed those rates.
