What if I do not have medical insurance and am concerned about my medical expenses?

Video Transcription:

If you do not have medical insurance and you’re a passenger, many times you can obtain treatment under what’s known as LOPs or Letters of Protection, whereby you agree to pay a physician or a facility for the treatment that you received once you recover from your lawsuit. It’s not a contingency fee arrangement. You’ll still be responsible for the care. But the doctor and or the facility agree to wait until your case has been resolved before they require payment.
