What happens if I trip and fall during the cruise or while I am getting on or off the ship?

Video Transcription:

That’s really two questions. First question, if you trip and fall or slip and fall on the ship, then the ship is liable for its negligence. What it did that caused you to fall. The other question is what happens if I fall getting on or off the ship? That depends on where the fall takes place. If you’re on the ship’s gangway then the cruise line is responsible for that. If you fall in the terminal on your way to the ship, the ship may or may not be responsible.

It all depends on how close you are to the vessel. The vessel or the cruise line has an obligation to provide what’s known as safe ingress and egress to the vessel. That is safe entry and exit. It will all depend on where your accident happened, who will be liable for that getting on and getting off the ship.
